HOPELINE Registration Starts Feb 1: TELL A FRIEND! Do not forget to apply to the HOPELINE to be considered for employment with the Boston Youth Fund for the summer of 2012! All applicants must be full-time residents of Boston and be between the ages of 15 and 17 years old. You must turn 15 on or before Jul 8, 2012 and cannot turn 18 on or before Aug 17, 2012. Register online 24 hours a day from Feb 1 at 10am until Mar 2 at 11:59pm, or call 617-635-HOPE(4673) on Feb 21, 22 & 23 from 10am-2pm. Applying with the HOPELINE does NOT guarantee a summer job. ABCD SummerWorks Registration Starts Feb 1: Get an early start applying for a summer job with SummerWorks. Apply online 24 hours a day and follow the step-by-step instructions (requires a working email account). Read and complete the application with a parent or guardian. A complete application includes a signed application, CORI form, checklist, and eligibility documentation. You can also apply in person at your local neighborhood ABCD office. Applicants must be residents of Boston, be between the ages of 14 and 21 years old, and be income eligible. Building Pathways
Building Pathways is a 7-week program designed to prepare qualified applicants for an apprenticeship in the building trades - the pathway to a rewarding career in construction. Through Career Readiness and Occupational Skills Training, with classroom and hands-on learning experiences, Building Pathways will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to enter into a state-registered Building Trades apprenticeship program You will also receive coordinated case management and placement services to help you achieve your career goals
